A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Various geometric shapes with small stylized flroals and leaves. 
 
Colors are mustard, green white and a bit of blue with an orangey red background.

*actually two pieces of the same fabric that have been hand seamed together with seam running top to bottom. One larger piece and a narrower strip at one side. Selvage can be seen at the seam. 
 
Condition
 
Very distressed with many large and small holes throughout as well as thin areas. 
 
Colors fairly consitatnt but show slight variations from age and use. No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
