A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Repeating motifs of "petite fleurs" in rosy red, shade of pink, blueish green and lavender against a light beige background.

Condition
Distressed with a group of large holes about 1/3 way down from the top edge. Many small holes and thin areas throughout the fabric. Colors are strong and even. You will see traces of quilt lines. No obvious stains.
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
