A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Stylized blossoms and leaves in a light brown and creme color with an indigo blue background. Picotage work in and around the motifs.

1 meter 42 cm from top to bottom 
 
The width is 
 
17 cm wide (still has the selvage at one side)
 
*actually two pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together with a seam running across the width and 22 cm up from one end. 

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with several small holes running along one sie. For the rest the fabric is in good condition. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. 
 
Colors are good, strong and even. No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
