A 19th century French cotton block print. Repeating design or paisley, leaves and florals in madder red, yellow, blue and a bit of black.

*actually 4 pieces of the same fabric that have all been hand seamed together. One larger piece and 3 smaller pieces along the sides. 

Condition
 
Distressed with several small holes and some thin areas throughout. Colors are strong and even. You will see some slight variation in background color due to use and some quilt lines. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
