A 19th century French cotton plaid fabric. Shades of brown and marigold in color.

Condition
 
Slight distressed look with several tiny pinholes and some slight variation in color. A very large patch insert done by hand towards one end and a patch at the back of the fabric. No obvious stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak and cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps to remove dust and dirt. 
 
It is our aim to preserve the integretity and color of the fabric since many of the fabrics we sell are being reproduced.
