A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Repeating floral and leaf design. 
 
Colors are two shades of aubergines, golden olive, mustard and off white with a red background.

Condition
 
Lightly distressed with a couple of small holes and many tiny holes throughout which can be seen when the fabric is held up to the light. Rip at one corner. 
 
Colors good, strong and fairly consistant with slight signs of aging but an even appearance. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
