A 19th century French cotton resist dye/block print fabric. Repeating design of groups of roses with buds and leafy ferns inbetween. Colors are shades of red, beige and tan.

Condition
Distressed with a few larger holes and a few tiny holes. One split at the bottom. Some variation in color due to age, use and quilting. Some areas in good condition without damage that would work for small projects.
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
