We've carefully hand stitched this 19th century French cotton fabric sample to a hand written 18th century French letter dated 1749. 
 
The fabric is a repeating block design of a stylized leaf with a small floral to the side. Striped background. Colors are aubergine to lavender, white, light brown and mint.
