A late 1800's French cotton ikat. Blue & white in color. Light in weight. Perfect for soft furnishings. Fabric is good and strong.

Condition
 
Some larger holes at the selvage sides. Some tiny holes here and there throughout. One small rust spot towards the center and another towards center top. There is a larger stains along the left hand selvage side and some light marks that would undoubtedly lift with a more intense deeper cleaning. Leaving that up to the discretion of the customer. 
 
Colors are strong and consistant. Good size areas without damage. There is a small narrow strip sewn in along the bottom edge and top edge has a small hand stitched hem. 
 
The fabric has been a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt, rinsed thoroughly and then lightly laundered using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents 
 
We like to deliver a clean and pressed product when  possible but take care to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
