Somewhat distressed look to this 19th century French cotton plaid. Light blue background with pinstripes in white and black.

*please note actually 5 pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together. One large piece and four smaller pieces at one end. 
 
Condition
 
Somewhat distressed look with many small holes and thin areas throughout and two larger holes. Larger light stain towards one end. Slight variation in color due to age, use and quilting. Quilted at one time so you will see light traces of quilt lines. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and a long cold water water using those famouse Marseille soaps without bleaching agents to freshen. 
 
Since many of our fabrics are being reproduced we aim to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
