A 19th century French cotton block print fabric. Tear drop shaped motifs with some fantastic details on tiny florals and leaves. Colors in the motifs are rosy red, pink, greyish blue and yellow. Background color beige.

Condition
 
Distressed with some heavy wear along one side. Row of holes along top edge. Some small holes here and there but also small areas in good condition without damage. Colors fairly strong and consistant. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines.
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
