A  19th century French cotton print fabric. Repeating design of stylized leaves in light brown, mustard and natural red against a light creme colored background.

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with one hole towards the center of the fabric and another at one side. Several thin areas throughout. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. No stains. Colors are strong and even. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
