A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Repeating abstract design . Probably a stylized floral with a leaf like motif in the background. 
 
Colors at one time was probably a dark brown with motifs in off white.

Condition
 
The fabric is in good condition except for two tears at one edge but has a distressed look. White bleached spots here and there which can be seen in the photos. Variations in background color and some motifs due to age, use and quilting. 
 
Main color was probably dark brown at one time but now has a charcoal grey appearance. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak and a long cold water wash to remove dust and dirt with those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is out aim to protect the color and integretity of our fabrics since many of them are being reproduced.
