A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Depicting birds resting on branches of grapes on the vine. Colors are light yellow and beige with a tan colored background.

*small piece of the same fabric hand seamed to one edge. Selvage can be seen at the seam. 
 
Condition
 
Distressed with several small holes and many thin areas throughout. No stains. Colors are fairly consistant. Quilted at one time so you will see traces of quilt lines. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
