A 19th century French cotton print fabric. Block pattern with one block showing a flower with buds on a leafy stem that alternate with a block of lines and a blossom at the cross points. 

 

Motifs in creme and light green with a brown background. 

 

Full repeat but missing pieces. 

 

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition

 

Very distressed with large and small holes throughout as well as thin areas and missing pieces.  

 

Colors vary due to age and use but have a consistant look. No stains. 

 

The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to removed dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 

 

It is our aim to preserve the color and the integrety of the fabrci since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
