A  19th century French cotton print fabric. Repeating design of florals and elaves in terractotta, light green and brown against a red background.

*actually 4 pieces of the same fabric hand stitched togetther with one large piece and three smaller pieces at one end. 
 
Conditiion
 
A couple of very tiny holes. Most of the fabric is in good useable condition. Colors are strong and even. 
 
No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
