Love the pattern in this 19th century French cotton print fabric. Very large leaves and blossoms with with a bit of a branch peeping through here and there. Pinstripes through the motifs and background. 
 
Colors terracotta and creme.

75 cm from selvage to selvage. Part of the selvage missing at one side. From selvage to side missing selvage 73 wide. 
 
Condition
 
Most areas in good condition. A darkish stain towards center, a large tear at the bottom. Light soiling one corner that would probably lift with a deeper cleaning. Small holes and thin areas along the sides. A small split at one side. Missing a bit of the upper left hand corner areas.
 
Colors are strong and even. No stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
