A late 19th century French cotton print fabric. Indienne design with exotic looking florals and leaves in marigold, dark terracotta and charcoal grey with an off white background.

Condition
 
Somewhat distressed with a larger hole at one side. Several small holes in and around the center. Some areas in good condition without damage. Best suited for small projects.  
 
Colors in the motifs good, strong and consistant. Background color still shows light soiling from use which may come up with a deeper cleaning if desired. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
