I'm always fascinated by the variety of these French provence designs from the 1800's. This example with it's stylized blossoms and leaves in shades of green, borwn and red against an off white background. The design is commonly referred to as "broken branch" with it's somewhat geometric look. . Photos are a good indication of color and condition.

68 cm from top to bottom 
83 cm wide (please note actually two pieces seamed together. The seam is 20 cm in from the right side). 
 
Condition
 
Very good condition with no holes or damage.  The only thing to note is a light age spot towards the upper left hand corner but it blends well into the background. The fabric has been laundered with those famous Marseille soaps with no bleaching agents.
