A 19th century French quilt fragment.  Cotton. Fabrics front and back. 
 
Front fabric: Great design of basket with florals and leaves that alternate with large medallion shapes. Colors are shades of madder red and creme with an indigo blue background.
 
Back fabric: Repeating styliwed blossom design in pinwheel shapes with small florals on leafy stems in between. Colors are caramel, light blue and white with a green background. 
 
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Left in as found condition. 
 
Both front and fabrics appear to be in good condition for the mst part although I can see some small breaks in the front fabric.  
 
No stains. Good clean appearance. Colors are strong and even.
