A 19th century French quilt fragment.  Cotton. Fabrics front and back. 
 
Front fabric: Repeating floral and leaf design on thin branches. Colors are terracotta and mustard with picotage work in white and yellow. Green background. 
 
Back fabric: Looks like a roll print in beige and creme. Alternating stripes. One with a branch motif the other is broken lines. Beige and creme in color. 
 
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Left in as found condition. 
 
Front fabric mostly in good condition but small holes along one side. Colors are strong and even. 
 
Back fabric very distressed.
