An early to mid 1800's French block print cotton quilt fabric. 
 
Front fabric has a repeat design of birds (which look like Phoenix) that alternate with stylized ribbon, florals and leaves in light blue and white against a madder red colored background.
 
Back fabric is a white chanvre linen.

Front fabric in good condition with no damage. Color are good and even. No stains. 
 
Back fabric in good condition but you will see a darkish mark at one edge which can be seen in the photos.
