Beautifully quilted and gorgeious colors in this 19th century French quilt fragment. Looks very much like an unglazed chintz. Cotton. Block print of smaller and larger groups of florals and leaves some very sweet outlined white birds in between. Colors are shades of red, pink a darkish aubergine brown, light blue and and mint green,
 
Back fabric is a plain white cotton.

Fairly clean but there are some small areas here and there with some light brownish age stains which I've tried to show in the photos. No apparent holes or any other damage. 
 
Back fabric in good condition with only light soiling due to age but nothing major.
