A 19th century French cotton quilt fragment. Block print of florals and leaves on long stems in goldish tan, white and green that alternate with a double leafy branch design. All against an indigo blue background. 
 
Full repeat. 
 
Back fabric is a plain white cotton. 
 
Thin layer of batting between the two fabrics.

Condition
 
Very good condition with no damage or stains. Clean appearance. Colors are good strong and even. The only thing to note is there is a seam in the front fabric 39 cm down from the top and crosses the width. 
 
Back fabric in good condition but shows some light stains.
