Small 19th century French cotton quilt fragment. Repeating diamond pattern with a stemmed floral in the center. Colors are lavender and purple with a tiny beige accent against a light beige background.

You can see that there is a seam in the fabric about midway on the fragment. 
 
Condition
 
Left in "as found" condition. Some slight even soiling and couple of tiny rust spots at one end. No holes that I could see. 
 
Back fabric is an off white cotton and whos some even soiling, a couple tiny rust spots and a split at one side.
