Probably one of the prettiest quilt we have ever come across.
This 19th century French cotton quilt has large variety of repeating florals and leaves including carnations, roses and tulips. Colors are rosy red, shades of pink, white and shades of green. Light blue background.
Reverse side has pieced together plaids in shades of blue and white and in shades of brown and charcoal grey.
Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition.

Condition
Left in as found condition and not laundered.
Front fabric in very good condition. No holes that I could detect but there is one thing to note. The quilting stitches at an area in the center roughtly 40 x 40 cm has come loose.
Back fabric in good condition. I didn't see any damage but does have two pinkish colored stains and one blueish colored stain which we have tried to show in the photos.
Colors front and back are strong and even.
