Striking design in this late 1800's French cotton quilt. 
 
On the front side a roll print with bands of florals, leaves and what looks like pomegranite in shades of red to pink, black and creme. 
 
On the reverse side a printed fabric with large motifs of groups pansie framed by scrolls and surrounded by small floral and leaves. Shades of aubergine and creme in color. 
 
Photos are a good indication of actual color and condition.

Left in as found condition and not laundered.
 
Front fabric has a few small breaks and a fez small old repairs.
 
Back fabric in good condition. I didn't see any damage but does have some yellowish areas probably mostly the result of dust. 
 
Colors front and back are strong and even.
