A 19th century French cotton roll print. Repeating bnands of stripes in shades of aubergine with a tiny block motif.

Condition
 
Very distressed especially the bottom half with many large and dmall holes and thin areas throughout. Large splits at one side. Several small holes and thin areas upper half. Colors are strong and consistant for the most part but show slight variaitons due to age and use. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
