A 19th century French block/roll print. Cotton.  Repeating block/roll print design of large leaves and flroals that alternate with rows of small florals and leaves on a branch. Colros are madder red, reddish brown, pale yellow and white against an indigo blue background.

Condition
 
Good condition from center to left hand side with only a couple of minor pinholes. Right hand side edge you can see large and small holes in the motifs that travel the entire length of the fabric. Slight variation in background blue color from age, use and quilting. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
