A 19th century French cotton roll print fabric. Altenating bands of Ovals with roses with a paisley in between. Smaller bands of ovals with small florals and leaves. 

 

Colors are terractotta, shades of brown and greyish white. 

 

Full repeat but missing pieces. 

 

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Condition

 

Distressed wit large and small holes as well as thin areas throughout. Variation in colors due to age and use although a consistant look. Small strip of another fabric hand stitched to one side. I left it there because I liked the way it looked. 

 

 No stains. 

 

The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to removed dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 

 

It is our aim to preserve the color and the integrety of the fabrci since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
