Saved from a 19th century French quilt this panel of indigo blue cotton. I always love the way these blues have aged in color over time. Good base for upscaling projects.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

Measurements

40 cm from top to bottom

The width is

85 cm wide (still has the selvage at both sides)

Condition

One tear, a few tiny holes. Color variation due to quilting giving the fabric a somewhat pebble like look. No stains.

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
