Saved from a 19th century French quilt this panel of indigo blue cotton. I always love the way these blues have aged in color over time. Good base for upscaling projects.

Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

*please note actually 3 pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together. Selvage can be seen at the seams.

Condition

One large tear, one small tear, some small holes here and there. Also good size pieces in good condition without damage. . No stains. Some light stains by a group of small holes next to each other. Color varies from age, use and quilting but has an even overall look.

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.

It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
