A 19th century embossed leather chair cover. French in origin. Hand painted. Depicts two tulips at the top edge, shell shaped motif and a cherub center, scrolled leaves and small florals at the sides and bottom. Rich tones of gold, green and terracotta against a blueish grey background.

Overall good appearance. As you can see from the photos some missing pieces at the edges so the panel has an irregular shape. Slight areas of missing paint and a darker area at the bottom just to the right of the center motif. 
 
The leather has been professionally cleaned and moistured to preserve it's conditiion for years to come.
