A 19th century oil painting on canvas. Wooden frame. Depicts a horseman (possibly a hunting scene) racing across field with a group of dogs. Small building in the background. Somewhat impressionistic in style. Signature at the bottom left hand corner but difficult to read.

Distressed with areas of missing paint mainly in the sky area. Cracks in the paint. It appears that the painting may have been removed from it's original frame and placed on a newer canvas at one time for stability (even though the newer canvas also looks quit old).
