An early 1800's French toile du jouy. Lovely shades of purple in color. Depicting a country scene of figures, house, cow, chicen and a cockatoo.

Left in "as found" condition. Not laundered. You may want to give the fabric a cold water soak and cold water to wash to lift any dust. 
 
Distressed with mainly large and small holes down the left hand side. Some other small holes and thin areas in the rest of the fabric.
