A 19th century French toile du jouy. Block print on a finely woven cotton. Depcting Asian motifs of a figure, pegoda, trees, florals and a butterfly. Saved from an old screen.

Left in "as found" condition and not laundered. 
 
The fabric was attached to a screen at one time with a layer of batting underneath the fabric. You will two small L shaped tears towards the top center. A bit of wear around the edges. Some slight glue residue at the edges but nothing major but more prevelant along the bottom edge. Fabric is still good and strong and suitable for sewing. 
 
You will see some slight age spots but prefer leaving any cleaning up to the discretion of the customer.
