A 19th century French toile du jouy. Block print on a finely woven cotton. Depcting Asian motifs of a fisherman walking on some steps, a thatched covering, florals and leaves. Saved from an old screen.

Left in "as found" condition and not laundered.
 
The fabric was attached to a screen at one time with a layer of batting underneath the fabric. You will see a bit of damage at the top. A hole to the left of the figure and underneath the figure Another L shaped hole half way down to the left and right Bottom 1/3 section of the panel still in good condition Some slight glue residue at the right edge.  Fabric is still good and strong and suitable for sewing.
 
You will see some slight age spots but prefer leaving any cleaning up to the discretion of the customer.
