Probably dating from the late 1800's or early 1900's this French linen toile du jouy. Showing partial figures at the top, a full figure center and partial figures and a tree stump with a few leafy branches at the bottom. Small bird at each side. 
 
Colors are shades of wine with a creme colored background.

Good condition with no damage and no stains.

The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
