Quite a unique antique sampler. Possible German juding by the name but purchased in France. Dates from 1861. Darned designs of geometrics and swirls center with leavy vines around all edges. The date 1861 and the name of the maker Agarite Greil at the bottom. 
 
Colors are blue and yellow in the darned and swirl motifs. Florals and vines in shades of green, a bit of white and red. 
 
All hand done in silk threads.

Condtiion
 
Overall good condition for age but you will see some tiny holes in the darned motifs and in the base fabric here and there. Colors are good strong and even.
