A late 1700's early 1800's French siamoise block print fabric. Depicting stylized blossoms and leaves. 
 
Colors are madder red and black. Natural light linen background.

Condiion
 
One tiny pinhole. The rest of the fabric in good condiiton.
 
Colors are strong and even. No stains.
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and a cold water wash using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
 
It is our aim to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
