Condition

The majority of the fabric is in good useable condition. At the top of the fabric some small holes. At right hand side edge a couple of minor small thin areas. A long the top edge and down the right had side edge several small holes. A couple of tiny holes and thin spots in the motifs center. Nothing major. One break in the fabric in the motif at top in the figure of the boy.  Left upper hand corner is curved. A few small light stains which may come up with a deeper cleaning if desired. Quilted at one time so you will see quilt lines. Some slight variation in the background color due to use, age and quilting.

The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to remove dust and dirt and a long cold water water using those famouse Marseille soaps without bleaching agents to freshen.

Since many of our fabrics are bering reproduced we aim to preserve the color and integretity of the fabric.
