A late 1800's early 1900's French cotton toile du jouy fabric. Depiciting birds, butterflies, florals and leaves.
 
Shades of red in color with an off white background.

Measurements
 
2 meters 97 cm in length x 31.5 cm wide 
 
*acutally 5 pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together. Mostly in equal sized lengths. Seamed run from top of the fabric to bottom. 
 
Condition
 
Most of the fabric in good useable condition. One panel at the end shows some small holes particuliary in the bird at one end. 
 
Good clean look with no stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to removed dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve the color and the integrety of the fabrci since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
