A late 1800's early 1900's French cotton toile du jouy fabric. Depiciting birds, butterflies, florals and leaves.
 
Shades of red in color with an off white background.

Condition
 
Most of the fabric in good useable condition. Small tear at upper edge. There are some small holes here and there several of which show up in the bird motifs. Probably best suited for smaller projects since you will have to work around the areas with holes. 
 
Good clean look with no stains. 
 
The fabric has been given a long cold water soak to removed dust and dirt using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve the color and the integrety of the fabrci since many of our fabrics are being reproduced.
