A lot of four pieces of distressed 19th century French cotton fabrics. Two chintz pieces are the same fabric and have a repeating design or stemmed roses and buds. The other piece a resist dye with florals and ferns in the background. The last piece a roll/block fabrics of florals.

Condition
All of the fabrics were quilted at one time and show traces of quilt lines. Chintz pieces in good condition with one piece showing a couple of small holes. Both pieces show yellowing from age.
Resist dye piece has a couple of small holes and shows soiling.
Block roll print is distressed with splits, some holes and thin areas.
The fabrics have been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents.
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
