Four pieces of 19th century French silk and metallic brocade saved from a chasuble. All pieces match in design. Each piece showing larger branches done in a metallic thread with smaller branches and florals done in silk threads.
Silk threads done in tangerine, dark red, green, lavender and golden olive.
Metal threads were gold at one time which can be seen at the edges but have now taken on a silver patina.
Base in an ivory colored silk.
Photos are a good representation of actual color and condition.

When looking at the first photo each pieces measures from left to right
1 meter 15 cm x 29.5 cm widest points
1 meter 12.5 cm x 25 cm widest points
1 meter 15.5 cm x 25 cm widest points
1 meter 16 cm x 29 cm widest points.
Condition
Each panel shows it's age and use with lots of character. In some pieces you will see seams where piece have been joined together. Some areas fragile while other areas still strong. Some old darned repairs that have been stabilized with a piece of jute at the back. Panel a the left shows twi dark stained areas.
Silk threads still in tact. Some metal threads have gone missing through age and use but what you would expecton an item of this age.
Best suited for documentation, framing or for small sewing projects.
