A lot of 5 antique Japanese indigo blue and white resist fabrics. Cotton. Repeating diamond pattern with tiny blossom in the center and wavy lines to the sides.

Condition
 
All of the pieces are somewhat distressed with a couple of larger holes and many small holes here and there with thin areas as well. Colors show some aging and some light variation due to use. Some light soiling on some areas which may lift with a deeper cleaning if desired. The fabrics where used on a French quilt at one time so you will see some light quilt lines. In some of the pieces you will see a seam where the fabrics have been hand stitched together. 
 
I find the backs of these fabrics just as beautiful as the fronts. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
