A lot of 7 antique Japanese indigo blue and white resist fabrics. Cotton. A mixed lot with some matching pieces. Some pieces with the heads of birds and other pieces with abstract geometric designs.

Condition
 
Mostly in good condition. Two of the smaller pieces show some small holes and thin areas. Square shaped piece is actually two pieces of the same fabric hand seamed together. All pieces show signs of age and slight variations in color. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
