A lot of two 19th century French cotton resist dye fabrics. Indigo blue and white in color. Repeat motifs of rosebuds and leaves.

Condition
 
Distressed. Larger piece shows several small holes and thin areas. Smaller piece has a few small holes. Both pieces have variation in color due to age and use. 
 
The fabric has been given a cold water soak to remove dust and dirst and then a light light laundering using those famous Marseille soaps without bleaching agents. 
 
It is our aim to preserve and protect the orginal colors of the fabric since many of our fabrics are being currently reproduced.
