Antique Dutch chintz bonnet. Dutch in origin. Dates from the mid 1800's. This bonnet is several pieces of the same chintz fabric that have been pieced together. Cotton trim lines the sides. Hand and machine stitched. Original liner. Fabric still shows glaze.
