A pair of early 1900's French knitted socks. Cotton. Striped. Shades of blue and light grey in color. A linen strap has been hand sewn to each of the the sock at the top.

Condition
 
Used but with many old darned repairs in the foot of each sock. Still a couple of small holes and some light age spots. 
 
Other than giving the socks a long cold water soak and a long cold water wash wash the socks have been left in as found condition. 
 
It is always our intention to preserve the color and the integrety of the textiles.
