A pair of early 1900's French knitted socks. Cotton. Striped. Shades of green and creme in color. A linen strap has been hand sewn to each of the the sock at the top. Monogram at the top back of each socking with cross stitch initial "LB."

Old darned repairs in the toes and heel. Some slight soiling of the linenstrapes. Slightly soiling in the feet which would probably lighten up with repeated washings or a deeper cleaning if desired. 
 
Other than giving the socks a long cold water soak and a long cold water wash wash the socks have been left in as found condition.
